Donald Trump: Fighting with Obama & Letterman

Posted: 29 Apr 2011 12:57 PM PDT

Trading barbs as he immerses himself in the political arena, Donald Trump was on both the firing and receiving end of public tiffs with David Letterman and President Barack Obama over the past twenty-four hours.

The "Apprentice" mogul continued his belittling of the U.S. Commander-In-Chief during an event in Nevada on Thursday (April 28) in which he called Obama "stupid".

Trump told the Las Vegas casino audience, "Our leaders are stupid, they are stupid people. It's just very, very sad."

All of the negative banter seemed to get under the skin of late night talk show host David Letterman, who insinuated that Donald is a "racist" while chatting with his latest guest, Dr. Phil.

"It's all fun, it's all a circus, it's all a rodeo – until it starts to smack of racism," Letterman told. Then asking Dr. Phil if he considers Trump a racist, the do-good doctor said, "I do not," while adding that the self-proclaimed billionaire lacks the quality of thinking before speaking.

Seemingly not in agreement, Letterman then said, "If he comes back on this show, and I am not sure we want him back on this show under these circumstances, he ought to be prepared to apologize just for that kind of behavior."

Supporting her mother's charitable efforts, Kate Hudson attended the inaugural Hawn Foundation event for "MindUP" at the Metropolitan Club in New York City yesterday (April 28).

The glowing momma-to-be looked beautiful as she stepped out for her mom Goldie Hawn's event, dressing her baby bump in a green and black leopard print gown and peep-toe heels.

"MindUP," which began in 2005, is part of an educational initiative focused on providing kids with the emotional and cognitive tools to help them improve learning and behavior.

Goldie recently revealed her inspiration for the project to the Huffington Post, telling, "I guess it was after 9/11. I realized at that point that our world was probably never going to be the same again. And I was really focused on the kids, because there was a lot of stress and a lot of uncertainty." adding, "Let me figure out a way to do something, maybe in the schools, to simply bring kids a little bit more resilience and a little bit more happiness. Simple mission."

The actress, who accepted the apology, was so upset over the accusation that she filed a $50 million lawsuit against Star, which has now been settled.

He's been making people laugh on Thursday nights for seven years, and last night (April 28) Steve Carell's final episode of "The Office" hit the airwaves.

The "Get Smart" actor starred in a double-length episode that involved Michael lying about his last day on the job so that he wouldn't have to say goodbye.

Of course, the mood of the episode was emotional, punctuated with moments of great comedy and awkwardness.

As his closing quote, Michael stated, "The people you work with are just, when you get down to it, your very best friends. They say on your deathbed you never wish you spent more time at the office. But I will. Got to be better than a deathbed."

His brother Prince William may have been the man of the hour today, but Prince Harry definitely had plenty of female attention as well.

The crimson-haired Royal entertained his longtime on/off girlfriend Chelsy Davy during the massive wedding festivities in London, England.

But Harry also had another gorgeous woman to attend to- bride Kate Middleton's beautiful sister/maid of honor Pippa.

Of course the media would love to see something spark up between Harry and Pippa, though it seems unlikely since Chelsy appears to have Harry's heart.

Robert Pattinson: City of Lights Stud

Posted: 29 Apr 2011 10:50 AM PDT

Enjoying his time in Paris, France, Robert Pattinson was spotted leaving his hotel earlier today (April 29).

The "Remember Me" hunk flashed a smile to fans and paparazzi that were waiting eagerly before heading off to an appointment.

And given all the international hoopla surrounding Prince William and Kate Middleton's Royal wedding this morning, Rob says he's fearful that Kate isn't ready for the pressures of her new life.

"It's going to be hard [for her] because people will lay responsibilities on her that seem totally irrelevant. You can't mess up, either. As an actor, you can kind of mess up - but not if you're a royal."

"I have always liked the members of the royal family who couldn't care less what anyone thinks: the ones who go, 'I'm royalty, so shut up!' That's one of the coolest things about England, I think, that we still have this crazy old system in place."
