Posted: 20 Apr 2011 01:11 PM PDT

He's been known to parody the very best musical acts, but when "Weird Al" Yankovic asked superstar Lady Gaga for permission to cover one of her hits - she said no!

The Mother Monster has reportedly rejected the satirist's request to add "Perform This Way," a parody of "Born This Way," on his next album.

It's still unclear just why Gaga blocked the album version, while Yankovic took to his blog explain his side of the situation, writing, "It has always been my personal policy to get the consent of the original artist before including my parodies on any album, so of course I will respect Gaga's wishes."

He added, "However, given the circumstances, I have no problem with allowing people to hear it online, because I also have a personal policy not to completely waste my stinking time."

Tim Robbins Mourns Death of Both Parents

Posted: 20 Apr 2011 12:46 PM PDT

It's tragic enough losing one loved one, and even worse losing two within two weeks of one other. So it only seems fit to pay respects to Tim Robbins after the passing of his parents.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Mary Robbins, 78, suffered a heart arrhythmia just 12 days after Gil Robbins, 80, died of prostate cancer.

A 2007 study at the University of Glasgow that followed more than 4,000 couples found that, on average, widows and widowers were at least 30 percent more likely to die within the first six months of a spouse's death than those who hadn't lost a partner.

Another large study in Jerusalem told that the grieving spouse's risk of death during those first six months went up by 50 percent.

Mr and Mrs Robbins both died in their home in Esteban Cantu, Mexico. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.

He told press, "I just shot a Beyoncé video at the beginning of this last week - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday - which was fun, and I hadn't done a video since 2009," he told MTV. The video's for the song 'Girls' - it's off her new album. She would probably have me shot if I said anything... Some stuff spilled out, but she wasn't happy about it, so I've been sworn to secrecy."

"It'll be big - it'll probably be one of the bigger Beyoncé music videos ever done. And, I can say that I think the song is unbelievable."
