Report: Pia Toscano Inks Deal with Interscope Records

Some have called it the most shocking "American Idol" elimination ever, but - less than 24 hours after her exit - season 10 finalist Pia Toscano has scored a record deal.

A report from Us magazine tells that the 22-year-old, who was booted from the FOX talent competition Thursday (April 7), will record her debut album with Interscope Records.

With Pia having been spotted at a record company office building on Friday (April 8). a source close to the deal revealed, "Pia is being signed to a deal with Interscope Records who are rushing her into the studio to record an album ASAP. Starting [Thursday] night after the show, Interscope told her they wanted her and first thing [Friday] morning Interscope brass started calling every top songwriter and producer in town to get an album together and rush release it.

As for the contract details, the insider told, "Papers are being finalized. It's basically a done deal. She's signing. They rushed everything but she's so excited."

Hoping to provide some insight and inspiration to fellow teenage girls, Demi Lovato opened up about her personal struggle with an eating disorder.

The new "Seventeen" magazine contributing editor offered this to readers, "If you are going through that dark period, go to your family and closest friends. Don't put yourself in danger. It's very crucial that you get your feelings out - but don't ever inflict harm on your own body because your body is so sacred. I wish I could tell every young girl with an eating disorder, or who has harmed herself in any way, that she's worthy of life and that her life has meaning. You can overcome and get through anything."

Revealing the constant temptation to fall back on old habits, she told, "Yes, there have been times when I definitely have been tempted to get rid of my dinner. But I will deal with it for the rest of my life because it's a life-long disease. I don't think there's going to be a day when I don't think about food or my body, but I'm living with it, and I wish I could tell young girls to find their safe place and stay with it."

Demi also disclosed the steps she takes to keep herself safe, saying, "I don't let anyone's insecurities, emotions, or opinions bother me. I know that if I am happy, that's all that matters to me. And it's okay to be selfish like that sometimes, when it comes to your well-being. Do what makes you happy, and don't care what others think."

Uma Thurman Visits "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon"

Showing off some new ink in honor of the show's host, Uma Thurman visited the New York City set of "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" last night (April 8).

The "Ceremony" actress looked stunning in a elegant lacy black dress and strappy silver and black heels as she has begun to promote her upcoming movie "Bel Ami".

During the visit to "Late Night," the 40-year-old offered up a special tribute to Fallon, unveiling a red and black inked heart with the the word "Jimmy" on her left arm.

After the flaming faux tattoo's big reveal, Uma joked about her next visit, saying, "I don't know how I am going to impress you next time."

Taking the stage in the Big Apple, Charlie Sheen arrived for his Torpedo of Truth Tour at Radio City Music Hall in Manhattan on Friday night (April 8).

Waving to his fans as he entered, the former "Two and a Half Men" star was in no rush to get things underway as he finally took the stage 30 minutes after the slated start time.

Among the highlights of the evening, Charlie ended up inviting "Two and a Half Men" co-creator Chuck Lorre to join him on stage for his performance coming up on Sunday night.

Talking about being fired from the hit comedy series, Sheen told the audience, "Of course, I want my job back so you guys can keep watching the best f**king sitcom in the world."

To close things out, the 45-year-old said, "I love you New York ... you're the best crowd ever. Well, some of you."

As for the feedback, audience member and "The Real Housewives of New York" star Kelly Bensimon told THR: "It's obviously a publicity tour because he wants his show back, but I'm confused. I'm not a doctor, but I think he's playing us."
