64th Cannes Film Festival: Closing Ceremony Recap

Bringing another year's showcase to an end, Jury President Robert De Niro presided over the closing ceremony of the 64th Cannes Film Festival in Cannes, France on Sunday (May 22).

The highly acclaimed actor happily dished out trophies to this year's winners, as he presented Kirsten Dunst with the Prix de l'Interpretation Feminine (best female) award while doting the Prix de l'Interpretation Masculine (best actor) honors upon Jean Dujardin.

Meanwhile, the Terrence Malick directed film starring Brad Pitt titled "The Tree of Life" took top honors by earning the coveted Palme d'Or accolade as stars including Jude Law, Uma Thurman and Ryan Gosling happily partook in the festivities.

Angelina Jolie & Brad Pitt: "Kung Fu Panda 2" LA Premiere!

Back in the States after promoting overseas at the Cannes Film Festival, Angelina Jolie was joined by Brad Pitt for the Los Angeles premiere of DreamWorks Animation's "Kung Fu Panda 2" on Sunday (May 22).

With fellow stars Jack Black and Lucy Liu also on-hand, the castmates took to the Grauman's Chinese Theatre venue as they ready for their family film's May 26th release.

Recently talking about the Jennifer Yuh directed movie with the Sun-Times, Jolie brought up how she - as an adoptive parent - can relate to the storyline mulling over the adoption of the popular Po character.

Angelina told, "I wondered if my children would ask questions. In our home, adoption and birth home are everyday words. Now those are words that Po is using in their favorite movie, and I think it's just lovely."

The mother of six added, "We have conversations about how families come together all the time. My kids have been there to pick up a brother or sister from the orphanage. The word orphanage is not a bad word in our house. They're good words."

Whitney Port: TAO Beach Bikini Babe

Spending the weekend soaking up the sun in Sin City, Whitney Port played hostess at TAO Beach at The Venetian Resort and Casino in Las Vegas on Saturday afternoon (May 21).

Showing off her fit and fine bikini body, the former "Hills" star joined gal pals Jo and Paigey in celebrating the grand opening of the new Swarovski store in The Grand Canal Shops.

Prior to making the trip from NYC to Vegas, Whit did her best to drum up interest in the TAO Beach bash by sending an invite to all of her loyal fans via her website.

The 26-year-old wrote, "Hi love bugs, Are any of you crazy kids headed to Vegas this weekend??? Well, I am!!! If you live there or are in town come party with me at Tao Beach at the Venetian on Saturday! I will be hosting the pool party in celebration of the grand opening of the SWAROVKSI Store! Jessica Biel’s Bronxville Bridesmaid Weekend

All prettied up while partaking in a weekend celebration of love, Jessica Biel took on the role of bridesmaid at a friend's wedding in Bronxville, NY on Saturday (May 21).

The former "7th Heaven" star donned a sleeveless white frock with floral designs adorning the lower half as she joined the wedding party for the afternoon ceremony and reception happenings.

Having been keeping a low public profile as of late following her split with Justin Timberlake, Miss Biel has been quietly lining up new projects to help herself stay busy.

The brunette beauty has most recently signed on to star alongside Gerard Butler in the Nu Image/Millenium Films picture "Playing the Field".

According to THR, the romantic comedy "stars Butler as a washed-up, retired soccer pro who moves back to Virginia to connect with his ex-wife, played by Biel, only to find himself coaching a boys' soccer team while fending off the temptations offered by the attendant soccer moms."

Boasting quite the impressive cast, the film also stars Catherine Zeta Jones, Uma Thurman, Judy Greer and Dennis Quaid.

Taylor Swift Raises $750,000 for Tornado Victims

Doing what she can to help those in need, Taylor Swift took the unprecedented step of opening the last dress rehearsal for her Speak Now Tour for fans as a fundraiser to benefit victims of recent deadly tornadoes in the Southeast.

The sold-out show raised over $750,000 while being held at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee on Saturday night (May 21).

Talking about the effort, Miss Swift said, "I've never opened a rehearsal to the public before, but I felt that inviting my fans to the last rehearsal for the Speak Now Tour would be a great way to raise money."

Meanwhile, Taylor will get the North American leg of her "Speak Now" tour underway in Omaha, Nebraska on Friday, May 27th.

"Glee" Stars Kickoff Live Concert Tour in Las Vegas

Getting their much-awaited stage show underway, the stars of "Glee" kicked off their Glee Live! In Concert! tour at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas on Saturday night (May 21).

With all of the hit FOX show's cast members partaking, Dianna Agron, Lea Michele and Cory Monteith helped get things rolling with the opening number "Don't Stop Believin'".

Also onstage for the energetic performance were Chord Overstreet, Jenna Ushkowitz, Kevin McHale, Heather Morris and Naya Rivera - with the ensemble offering up renditions of "Lucky" and "Born This Way" during the evening showcase.

Making for quite the busy schedule, the cast will be touring the States, the UK and Ireland over the next few months before getting a short breather and delving into filming of season three of their hit series.

Evangeline Lilly Welcomes Baby Boy!

Blessed with a new member of the family, Evangeline Lilly welcomed a healthy baby boy into the world earlier this month (May 2011).

According to Us magazine, the former "Lost" star recently gave birth to a son with her production assistant boyfriend Norman Kali.

Making for her first child, the news of Miss Lilly's pregnancy first broke last month thanks to Evangeline being spotted on a beach in Hawaii sporting a baby bump.

Prior to getting togethjer with Mr Kali, Lilly had previously dated her "Lost" co-star Dominic Monaghan.

Russell Brand Gets Deported from Japan

Not receiving the warm welcome he'd hoped for, Russell Brand was deported from Japan on Sunday (May 22) due to previous convictions.

With the news being broken by the British funnyman's pop star wife Katy Perry, she told that her hubby had jetted to the country with her tour entourage before being held by immigration officials and subsequently expelled from Japan due to prior criminal offenses from more than a decade ago.

An angry Perry took to her Twitter page, writing, "My husband just got deported from Japan. I am so sad. I brought him all this way to show him my favorite place#tokyodreamscrushed."

She continued, "It was for priors from over 10 years ago!... But of COURSE I (love) my Japanese fans & the show #MUSTGOON no matter the daily aftershocks or husbandkidnappings!"

Justin Timberlake & Lady Gaga’s SNL Finale: Complete Recap

Closing out the 36th year of the long-running comedy sketch show, Justin Timberlake teamed up with Lady Gaga for last night's season finale of "Saturday Night Live".

Things got underway with host Timberlake quickly telling the audience that he wouldn't be doing any singing - only to transition in a falsetto-laden ditty directed at an embarrassed audience member.

As for the sketches, one of the more popular pieces found Justin getting into his well-known Robin character while teaming up with Barry (Jimmy Fallon) for the "Barry Gibb Talk Show".

With Gaga being brought into the mix, other pieces included the "What's That Name?" game-show and "Three Way" - which saw Gaga meeting Justin and Andy Samberg's characters, with both guys wanting to land her before being caught off guard as Gaga said that she "wants [them] both."

Lady Gaga also treated the audience to performances during two music segments while appearing in a black latex pregnancy outfit during the rendition of "Born This Way".

Bar Refaeli: Barcelona Beauty

Having ended her stay at the Cannes Film Festival, Bar Refaeli made her way to Barcelona, Spain for weekend work duties on Saturday (May 21).

The Israeli stunner showed off her good looks while attending a presentation of the new 'LG 3D Cinema' television at the Can Batllo.

Clad in a curve-hugging mini dress and a fun pair of pink glasses, the newly-single Miss Refaeli also tweeted her plans to stay in the Spanish city for some time to come.

The 25-year-old tweeted of her plans, "Thought… Coming to Live in Barcelona for a few months.. It's perfect here"
