James Franco: NYU Alum!

Adding yet another academic achievement to his already impressive resume, James Franco graduated from New York University yesterday (May 17).

The 33-year-old Oscar nominee, who donned the standard cap and purple gown for the ceremony, now has his MFA in filmmaking from the Tisch School of the Arts.

In addition to his most recent diploma, James also holds the same accolade in creative writing from Columbia, he has studied fiction writing at Brooklyn College, poetry at Warren Wilson College, and is currently working towards a Ph.D. in English from the esteemed Yale University.

The higher-education aficionado, has also announced his plans to take classes at the Rhode Island School of Design and has just been accepted into the University of Houston's doctoral program in literature and creative writing for fall 2012.

Their wedding last month was monumental, and it seems Prince William and Kate Middleton's honeymoon is no slouch either.

The newly-crowned Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have been enjoying a week-and-a-half getaway on North Island, located in the African island nation in the Indian Ocean.

Will and Kate spared no expense for their lovers' retreat, plunking down an estimated $720,000 for their accomodations and amenities.

An insider told press, "They have been looking forward to this trip as much as they were their wedding. This is the first time in months they can relax together, away from everything and anyone."

She's ready for beach season, and Heather Morris is showing off her bikini body on the cover of the June issue of Women's Health magazine.

The "Glee" goddess looks super sexy in a red two-piece swimsuit along with a denim jacket, and in the accompanying interview she offers some advice to her fellow females.

"Do whatever you like to do, eat how you want to eat, but just make sure you stay [active]. I take a lot of exercise cardio classes. I do a ton of squats."

Heather also noted that she finds a lot in common with her character Brittany Pierce. "I'm exactly like Brittany. I love to dance, I like to have fun. I want to make everybody laugh."

While most women can't wait for the day their baby pops out, Kate Hudson says she loves being pregnant and "could be pregnant all the time."

Sitting down with Marie Claire alongside Ginnifer Goodwin for their June issue, the "Something Borrowed" actress also revealed that she can't wait to have another one.

This is Kate's second pregnancy as she has a seven-year-old son, Ryder, with ex-husband Chris Robinson. "Kate is happy for Ryder to finally have a brother or sister," says a friend.

Hudson is now engaged to Muse frontman, Matt Bellamy, and their little bundle of joy is due this summer.

Delta Goodrem: BMI Pop Awards Babe

She's always up for a big event, and last night (May 17) Delta Goodrem was spotted at the 59th Annual BMI Pop Awards in Beverly Hills.

The awesome Aussie star looked fabulous as she made her arrival at the Beverly Wilshire Four Seasons Hotel, sporting a cream colored one-shoulder dress with matching peep toe heels.

Delta definitely had a little extra bounce in her step and sparkle in her smile, which is likely the result of her new relationship with Nick Jonas.

Following her split with fiance Brian McFadden, Ms. Goodrem was a bit on the sad side, but it seems that's no more.

Lady Gaga Beats Oprah as Forbes’ Most Powerful Celeb!

Knocking the queen of talk from her top spot, Lady Gaga has edged out Oprah Winfrey for the title of World's Most Powerful Celebrity, according to Forbes magazine.

On the list off 100 famous names, released earlier today (May 18), the "Judas" singer beat out Oprah, who has held on as numero uno for an impressive four years, until moving to her current place at number two.

The magazine offered up this statement of their power picks, telling, "Lady Gaga tops our power list not just because of her $90 million in earnings, but also because of her 32 million Facebook fans and 10 million Twitter followers. [Those fans] helped move 1 million copies of her hit single, "Born This Way," in just five days."

Also joining the ranks is 17-year-old Justin Bieber at number three, while fellow newbies Katy Perry (12), Bethenny Frankel (47) and Natalie Portman (75) nabbed their own special spots on the list.

Ashlee Simpson’s Dinner Night, New Album Plans

Enjoying an evening out, Ashlee Simpson was spotted having dinner at Dominick's restaurant in Beverly Hills last night (May 17).

Joined by a few friends, the "Pieces of Me" songstress sported a black hat on top of her cropped bleached blonde coif as she made her exit.

Now that she's split up with Pete Wentz, Ashlee is said to be hopping back into her musical career and working on new material.

Taking to her Twitter page, Ashlee declared, "Writing sesh (session) on the balcony. My album doesn't seem so far away..."

Carey Mulligan: Back to Brunette

She usually touts crimson or blonde locks, but yesterday (May 17) Carey Mulligan was spotted with a chocolate brown coif.

The "Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps" babe headed out into New York City with director Baz Luhrman looking almost unrecognizable.

However, it turns out Carey actually prefers the darker tresses, as she had to go blonde for a film role back in 2009.

Back then she told press, "I hate my hair. After An Education, I had a small part inMichael Mann's film Public Enemies and he wanted me to dye it white blonde, and it wrecked my hair. Literally, ruined it. It was falling apart, fried. So I had to cut it off. I cried."

Justin Timberlake’s “SNL” Season Finale Promo

He's always been a great host on "Saturday Night Live" and this weekend Justin Timberlake will return to the sketch comedy show.

The "Cry Me A River" singer teamed up with Andy Samberg to film some promotional videos for the upcoming gig.

During one, Samberg clings to Timberlake while trying to kiss him on the mouth, murmuring, "Give them what they want."

During another, Justin and Andy talk about the studio being haunted before a small white sheet wrapped like a ghost is dropped on a string in front of them. Of course, they scream and everyone else laughs.

Justin will play host this Saturday night (May 21) while Lady GaGa handles the musical duties.

Shakira Releases “Rabiosa” Video Teaser

She consistently puts out great music, and Shakira's new single "Rabiosa" carries on her tradition of keeping her fans dancing.

The "Hips Don't Lie" songstress just released a teaser clip of her soon-to-be-released music video, showcasing the colorful club scene she's known to frequent.

The "Rabiosa" video was shot in Barcelona, Spain back on April 24th under the direction of her long-time collaborator Jaume de la Iguana.

In related news, Shakira was recently in Haiti to see first-hand the school she's been helping out with.
