Saoirse Ronan Eyes Role in "The Host"

She's on the fast track to Hollywood stardom, and Saoirse Ronan is reportedly set for a role in the upcoming film "The Host."

The "Lovely Bones" actress is rumored to have landed the part of Melanie Stryder in the Stepenie Meyer's flick.

According to Deadline, the movie involves a character named Stryder - one of the few surviving humans in a struggle against alien parasites called Souls.

Thus far, Ms Ronan has starred in other films like "Hanna" and "Atonement."

Everyone loves a good thriller flick, and Clive Owen's new film "Intruders" has just released a new teaser trailer.

While the movie isn't due to hit theaters until October 7th, it seems that there's already plenty of hype for this project.

Directed by "28 Weeks Later" helmsman Juan Carlos Fresnadillo, "Intruders" is about an 11-year-old girl who is dealing with demonization.

In the trailer, Owen walks into his daughter's room only to find that she has an uninvited, unfriendly visitor waiting for him. Spooky!

Jennifer Lawrence Covers Flare June 2011

Making for the picture-perfect cover girl, Jennifer Lawrence was decked out in Gucci for Flare magazine's June 2011 issue.

Set to hit newsstands in Canada on May 16th, the oh-so-hot "Winter's Bone" actress chatted with the Canadian magazine about a range of topics including being a wild child and her sturdy athletic build.

Highlight's from Miss Lawrence's Falre interview are as follows:

On Oscar parties: "I went to the Vanity Fair [Oscar] party for a cool 15 minutes. And then I took off. I'm like a little old lady. I'm always tired around midnight! I mean, it was cool to see Elton John, and I met Billy Crystal, which was amazing, but yeah, I'm mostly just kind of uncomfortable."

On being a wild child: "My mom [says] – Jenn wasn't allowed to play with the girls at recess. She had to play with the boys because she's too rough."

On her athletic build: "I'd rather look a little chubby on camera and look like a person in real life, than to look great onscreen and look like a scarecrow in real life."

On the success of Winter's Bone: "I cried when we got into Sundance. I never saw any of this coming."

Heading out for the day, Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore were spotted leaving their hotel in New York City this afternoon (May 3).

The "Butterfly Effect" stud looked a bit annoyed with the shutterbugs, sporting a bushy beard along with a plaid button-up shirt and cargo trousers.

Meanwhile, Ms. Moore seemed a bit preoccupied with her mobile phone as she hid behind her hubby and a pair of oversized black sunglasses.

Last night, Demi looked glamorous at the 2011 MET Gala held by the Costume Institute, themed "Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty."

Usher: Like Father, Like Son

Stepping out for some errands, Usher was spotted out with his son Usher Terry in New York City this afternoon (May 3).

The "U Remind Me" singer held his little guy's hand, and the paparazzi seemed ecstatic to get shots of the real-life mini-me situation before them.

Last week, Usher celebrated national "Take Your Child to Work" day by having his sons Usher Raymond V and Naviyd Ely Raymond join him onstage in Orlando, Florida.

He told press, "Life can weigh you down, but children pump blood back into your heart. Their innocence gives you a reason to be open-minded, and they reignite your love for life. My life isn't the typical one, but that doesn't mean I can't be a traditional father, in my own way. My tradition is loving, being available for my kids. I didn't have that from my father, so having it will give them greater potential."

Eva Longoria: Tassimo Brewbot Babe

The "Over Her Dead Body" hottie hammed it up with the Tassimo single-cup home brewing system as paparazzi and caffeine junkies looked on.

In related news, Eva reportedly gave the cast and crew of her hit show "Desperate Housewives" a delicious farewell at the wrap of the current season.

Longoria took to her Twitter page to say, "Last day of shooting on set for this season! So we got the Fatburger truck to come out and make burgers for the crew!"

Prince William & Kate Middleton’s Weekend in Anglesey

They've delayed their honeymoon a bit, but that doesn't mean that Prince William and Kate Middleton forgot to take some time for themselves after the big wedding.

According to a report from Us magazine, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge spent the weekend "privately in the United Kingdom" locale of Anglesey.

An inside source clarified, "William and Kate spent their honeymoon weekend at home in Anglesey. There were rumors that they were in various parts of Europe, but they actually just went home and stayed indoors the whole time. It was a cozy weekend."

And earlier today, William was back to work as a search and rescue helicopter pilot. "He returned to work today. After the Bank Holiday weekend, it is now a normal working week."

Ryan Gosling’s Morning Pick-Me-Up

The "Lars and the Real Girl" actor looked fresh from the night's spleep as he strolled out of the convenience store, sporting a white v-neck, trousers, and loafers without socks.

In career news, Ryan's controversial flick "Blue Valentine," also starring Michelle Williams, hits the DVD format today.

The flick is about a married couple who have been going through relational problems. Throughout the movie, they look at the course of their marriage and wonder if they'll ever be happy.

Miley Cyrus Covers Nirvana’s "Smells Like Teen Spirit"

Trying her hand at the iconic track, Miley Cyrus kicked off her "Gypsy Heart" tour by surprising fans with her own rendition of Nirvana's "Smells Like Teen Spirit" at a concert in Ecuador over the weekend (April 29).

The "Hannah Montana" star introduced her cover of the song by telling the crowd, "For this tour, I want to be able to do the music that inspired me and made me want to be on this stage tonight."

Miley continued, "It's hard being on the road because you miss your family back home, and this song is something I always sing with my little brother who can't be with me on tour, so this song is also for him."

The 90s hit was just the beginning for the rock-themed concert performance, which included the metal-based versions of the tracks "Liberty Rock," "Who Owns My Heart," and her effort of "Every Rose Has Its Thorn."

She prefers to keep her personal life personal, for the most part, but Selena Gomez finally opened up about a few things during her recent interview with Seventeen magazine.

The "Wizards of Waverly Place" babe admitted that she and Justin Bieber are falling in love with each other as their relationship progresses.

Selena gushed, "I'm eighteen, and I'm going to fall in love. I'm going to hang out with people, and I'm going to explore myself, and I'm okay with that."

As for fellow Disney darling Demi Lovato, "There's an amount of love that can never -- no matter what -- be taken away or torn apart, no matter the situation. There are certain people who you will always, always love, so if anything, this just reminded me of how much I truly love [Demi]."
