Post-Carell “Office” Drops in Ratings

Last week was a monumental moment for "The Office" as Steve Carell said farewell, but last night ratings took a dive.

According to a report, the NBC comedy dropped 17 percent in the 18-49 demographic landing in fourth place.

The total for the night was 6.8 million viewers, giving the first post-Carell episode of "The Office" a 3.5 rating.

Still, Will Ferrell & Co. came out on top of the season finale of "30 Rock" which only garnered 4.2 million viewers with a 2.1 rating.

Renee Zellweger, Bradley Cooper’s Near MET Gala Run-in

Narrowly escaping an awkward red carpet reunion, exes Renee Zellweger and Bradley Cooper were both among the attendees of the Costume Institute's 2011 MET Gala in New York City yesterday (May 2).

The "Hangover" hunk was all smiles as he arrived to the stare-studded event with beautiful date on his arm: His gorgeous mother Gloria.

Just 20 minutes later, Brad's former leading lady, Renee, showed up solo and stunning in a back-bearing nude Carolina Herrera gown.

After leaving the lavish bash, Zellweger hit the party scene at hotspot Crown, the same place an insider reportedly saw Cooper nearly enter, before abruptly changing his mind and returning to his car.

Halle Berry: Mother-Daughter Lunch Date

Playing the part of the doting mother, Halle Berry took her daughter Nahla out to lunch in Beverly Hills today (May 6).

The "Swordfish" actress looked casually stylish as she made her exit from the restaurant, sporting a grey top and slim fit jeans with a massive black handbag.

In career news, Halle is set to receive the Celebrity Fragrance of the Year trophy at the upcoming FiFi Awards.

Berry told press, "For years, I have created my own personal scents by mixing and layering fragrances, trying to come up with something unique and different. It's a wonderful form of self-expression and I am thrilled to share these fragrances with consumers worldwide."

“Glee” Goes “Friday”

For better or worse, Rebecca Black scored a huge internet hit when her song "Friday" hit YouTube.

And the folks over at "Glee" have decided to record their own take on the kinda-cheesy kinda-cool single.

Kevin McHale, Mark Salling, and Chord Overstreet teamed up to add their own flavor to the track, and it seems to work quite nicely.

Still, Ms. Black's auto-tuned-to-the-max vocals will never be replaced as one of 2011's guilty pleasures.

Nicolas Cage Dodges Charges

He caused quite a ruckus after having way too much to drink in New Orleans last month, but it turns out Nicolas Cage won't be charged with any crimes.

According to a report, the "National Treasure" actor has assumed work on his current film "Medallion" after having his legal woes swept away.

Despite being booked on charges of domestic violence, disturbing the peace, and public drunkenness, Cage seems to have gotten very lucky.

The New Orleans District Attorney's Office says they don't have sufficient evidence to move forward with the case.

Chris Brown’s Mom Urges Him to Talk About Rihanna Assault

Two years after his infamous assault on ex-girlfriend Rihanna, Chris Brown's mother has urged her son to break his silence on the issue so he "learn to deal with it" and move on.

Chris' mom, Joyce Hawkins, who has been a victim of domestic abuse herself, told "Sister 2 Sister" magazine, "I think he really needs to talk about the situation in itself, what actually happened to Rihanna, so that he can get that out for himself."

Joyce continued, "He has to learn to deal with it and go on with his life. This is something that happened; it was a huge mistake, it was not good at all. But he is still a human being and we all make mistakes and we live and we go on with it. But he has to own it, deal with it and move on with his life."

Meanwhile, Rihanna herself to took the press to she explain her reason for relaxing the restraining order against her former beau, telling, "It doesn't mean we're gonna make up, or even talk again. It just means I didn't want to object to the judge. We don't have to talk again ever in my life. I just didn't want to make it more difficult for him professionally."

Paul McCartney: Getting Married…Again

He has a penchant for walking down the aisle, and Paul McCartney will be saying "I Do" once again in the not-too-distant future.

The Beatles bassist popped the question to his NYC businesswoman girlfriend Nancy Shevell last weekend and she gladly accepted.

According to an insider, Paul arranged "a romantic candlelit dinner for two" for the proposal, and they're only telling family and close friends at this point.

Nancy will be McCartney's third wife- his first wife Linda died in 1998, and he divorced his second wife Heather Mills in 2008.

Rihanna Makes Rounds in Milan

She's never in one place for very long, and earlier today (May 6) Rihanna was spotted out and about in Milan, Italy.

The "Umbrella" songstress was seen receiving a gift from Roberta Armani while hanging out in the downtown area of the beautiful historic city.

Coming up later this month, Ri-Ri will be kicking off the "Today Show Summer Concert Series" with her fourth performance on the show.

She'll hit the stage on May 27th, while ex-boyfriend Chris Brown is scheduled to perform on July 15th.

Ashley Greene’s Busy Day in Studio City

She's always on the go, and Ashley Greene was a busy girl in Studio City, California yesterday afternoon (May 5).

The "Breaking Dawn" babe hit up Strip waxing salon for some personal maintenance before heading over to a nearby dance studio for a good sweat.

And it seems all of her effort has paid off, as Ashley was recently named to FHM magazine's 100 Sexiest Women in the World 2011 list.

Ms. Greene snagged the #17 spot while her "Twilight Saga" cohort Kristen stewart came in at #13.

Kim Kardashian: Bikini Beach Lovin’ with Kris Humphries!

Taking a much deserved break from her hectic work schedule, Kim Kardashian recently enjoyed a vacation with her family and boyfriend, Kris Humphries, in Punta Mita, Mexico.

The Kardashian clan headed south of the border to celebrate Kourtney's 32nd birthday, with the paparazzi capturing all of the shoreline lovin' during the course of the of the multi-day Mexican getaway.

Strutting her stuff in an array of teeny-weeny bikinis, Kim showed off her sexy curves with her hair swept back in a braid while her buff beau offered up a glimpse of his rock hard abs.

Seemingly getting along quite nicely, Kris even tossed a football around with Scott Disick and Kourtney before joining his lady love as the pair doted on Kourt's adorable young son, Mason Dash.

After arriving back home in Los Angeles earlier this week, Ms Kardashian tweeted, "So happy to be home from a fun long family vacation! Its been a while since the whole family got together like that! We need to do that more."
