Avril Lavigne: St Tropez Bikini Boater!

Once again venturing out into the warm French Riviera sunshine, Avril Lavigne was spotted enjoying her vacation in Saint Tropez on Saturday afternoon (June 25).

The "What the Hell" singer was clad in an itsy-bitsy pink and black bikini as she joined a group of friends while leaving Club 55 for a day on the crystal clear waters.

And while Miss Lavigne just released her latest album "Goodbye Lullaby" back in March, the 26-year-old Canadian is already looking ahead to another new release.

Saying that she wants her next venture to be "more fun" than its predecessor, Avril told press, "I already have 8 songs! I would like to release the fifth album really quick. This record was more mellow, and the next one will be pop and more fun again. I already have a song that I know is going to be a single. I just need to re-record it."

She has quite the big week in her career lying ahead, and Selena Gomez was busy this weekend pushing forth with her ambitious "Monte Carlo" mall tour on Saturday (June 25).

The "Wizards of Waverly Place" darling took to the North Shore Mall in Peabody, MA, entertaining fans who'd lined up hours in advance to catch a glimpse of the 18-year-old beauty.

With a new album due out Tuesday (June 28) followed by the theatrical release of her movie "Monte Carlo" on Friday (July 1), Miss Gomez recently spoke with Teen Vogue about transitioning from a child star to a lifelong entertainer.

She said, "I'm in a very crucial spot. It's like starting over. I was trying to explain it to one of my friends, and he said, 'You'll be fine. People believe in you.' But when they're putting together a movie with Leonardo DiCaprio, I don't think they're going to go, 'Selena Gomez would be great for this!' I'm not an option. It's humbling, having to go from this Disney high back down to having to fight for roles."

Miranda Cosgrove’s "Pretty Amazing" Luncheon

All prettied up for a weekend soiree, Miranda Cosgrove was front and center at the Mondrian Hotel in New York City on Saturday afternoon (June 25).

The "iCarly" cutie showed off her gorgeous smile as she posed for pictures before joining fellow guests at Seventeen magazine's "Pretty Amazing" Luncheon.

And while she previously deferred on going to college thanks to her successful career, Miss Cosgrove has been accepted to NYU and USC - a decision that she says is going to be a tough one when the time for university life is right.

Talking with press, Miranda said of her collegiate options, "It's going to be hard. I love LA because I'm from here but I love New York so I kind of want to get away and do the whole college thing. It's still up in the air, I'm having a little trouble deciding but I still have a few months to figure it out."

Nicole Richie & Harlow: Ice Cream Cuties!

Enjoying some quality mother/daughter time over a cool treat, Nicole Richie and 3-year-old Harlow were spotted outside an ice cream shop in West Hollywood, California yesterday (June 24).

The 29-year-old fashion designer and her too-cute tot looked absolutely adorable as they both donned floral dresses and walked hand-in-hand.

Meanwhile, earlier in the week, Nicole made headlines when she reunited with former BFF Paris Hilton at the I Heart Ronson for JC Penney bowling party.

Looking to be thrilled over her special catch-up time with her "Simple Life" pal, Paris took to her Twitter to gush, "@NicoleRichie, Bill, great seeing you tonight at #Iheartronson. You looked so beautiful! Love you. Love Sill :) xoxo"

Rihanna Tumbles in Edmonton, Rocks Vancouver

Situated north of the border for her North American "Loud" tour, Rihanna has been busily churning out shows in Canada as of late.

The Barbadian beauty most recently took the stage in Vancouver, as she spent Friday night (June 24) treating the sold out crowd to an energetic performance at Rogers Arena - after which she closed out the gig by taking a shot of vodka and dropping the shot-glass to the audience.

A few days earlier, RiRi was busy doing her thing at Rexall Place in Edmonton, during which she suffered a minor hiccup as she took a tumble mid-song before hopping back to her feet and proceeding forth as if nothing ever happened.

Aside from her tour efforts, Rihanna is among the nominees with multiple bids at Sunday night's (June 26) 2011 BET Awards - as she's up for trophies for Best Female R&B Artist, Best Collaboration and Viewer's Choice.

"Cars 2" Races to the Top of the Box Office

Speeding past the competition, "Cars 2 3D" raced its way to the top spot at the box office over the weekend of June 24-26, 2011.

The Pixar/Disney offering continued in the trend of animation domination by earning $25.7 million on opening day while trending towards an estimated weekend take of $70 million.

Garnering the runner-up position was the Cameron Diaz/ Justin Timberlake starring comedy "Bad Teacher" - with the raunchy Jake Kasdan directed picture pulling in an opening day total of $12.1 million en route to an anticipated weekend total of $31 million.

Rounding out the top five were the Ryan Reynolds/ Blake Lively fronted comic book based movie "Green Lantern" ($19.4 million), followed by "Mr. Popper's Penguins" ($13 million) and "Super 8" ($12.1 million).

Jennifer Aniston Debuts Her New Ink!

Taking care of some Big Apple errands while she debuted her newest accessory, Jennifer Aniston showed off her first-ever tattoo in New York City earlier this week.

The causally-clad "Just Go With It" actress took to the day's duties in a pair of barely-there footwear - giving her fellow New Yorker's a good look at her fresh ink.

While taping an episode of "Inside the Actors Studio" Thursday (June 23), Jennifer revealed that her tat has special meaning - it's a tribute to her Welsh corgi-terrier mix, who died in May at the age of 15.

Aniston may have worked up the courage to get the foot art thanks to her tatted-up beau, Justin Theroux, of whom she just told ET makes her "very happy" and feel "very lucky."

Tokio Hotel Hits MTV’s Video Music Aid Japan

One of the most popular worldwide acts around, Tokio Hotel lent their talents to the MTV Video Music Aid Japan at Chiba City in suburban Tokyo on Saturday (June 25).

Following a red carpet interview and photo session, Bill Kaulitz, Georg Listing, Tom Kaulitz and Gustav Schafer took to the Makuhari messe stage to offer up stirring performance of "Dark Side of the Sun" and "Monsoon".

The event, typically called the MTV Video Music Awards Japan, was renamed to support of the victims of the March 11 tsunami and earthquake disaster.

Following their VMAJ efforts, the members of Tokio Hotel took to the Flea Market For Tohoku - which held an auction where fans were able to buy sponsored or personal items of stars and artists with all proceeds will go to the Japanese Red Cross Society's relief efforts.

Justin Bieber Gears Up for the 2011 BET Awards

Making his way to the west coast, Justin Bieber was spotted arriving at LAX Airport in Los Angeles, CA on Friday night (June 24).

The "Next 2 You" sensation turned up fresh off of an inbound flight from New York City after patiently waiting through a two and a half hour delay.

As usual, the teen heartthrob was mobbed by fans and photographers as he pulled his Detroit Tigers ballcap over his face while shuffling through the metro terminal.

Bieber is in Los Angeles as he prepares to take the stage as a presenter during Sunday night's (June 26) BET Awards - which air live from the Shrine Auditorium on BET beginning at 8PM ET.

Brad Pitt’s "World War Z" Workday

Working hard on the set of his latest project, Brad Pitt filmed scenes for "World War Z" in Birgu, Malta earlier today (June 25).

The 47-year-old, who hit the set with the help of his stunt double yesterday, took to the passenger seat for today's filming - which involved a car ride through the battered-looking scenery.

Meanwhile, Brad's wife in the zombie flick, Mireille Enos, dished about the cozy encounters she had with Angelina Jolie's hubby, telling E!, "There is a goodbye kiss, but no love scenes."

Mireille made sure to point out that Pitt isn't just a good-looking guy - he's also pretty nice to be around, too, as she told, "He's the sweetest, loveliest guy."
