Tiger Woods: I’m Not Playing in the U.S. Open

Adding to what has proven to be a rather disappointing year for him professionally, Tiger Woods has officially pulled out of next week's U.S. Open - making it the first time the competition will be without him since 1994.

The 35-year-old golfing pro has been battling a mild strain to his left Achilles tendon since making an off-balance shot at this year's Masters.

Tiger took to his Twitter to alert fans of the news, writing, "Not playing in US Open. Very disappointed. Short-term frustration for long-term gain."

Wood's furthered his decision via his website, explaining, "It's time for me to listen to my doctors and focus on the future. I was hopeful that I could play, but if I did, I risk further damage to my left leg. My knee and Achilles tendon are not fully healed. I hope to be ready for AT&T National, the next two majors and the rest of the year."

Emma Watson Explains Brown Departure

Finally putting rumors to rest, Emma Watson recently confirmed that her decision to leave Brown University in April had nothing to do with being bullied over her celebrity status.

The "Harry Potter" actress told Sunday Times Style Magazine, "It made me so sad when all this stuff came out that I left Brown because I was being bullied."

"It made no sense at all. Brown has been the opposite. I've never even been asked for an autograph on campus. I threw a party for nearly 100 students and not a single person put a photo on Facebook," she said.

"Anyway, even if I was being given a hard time, I wasn't going to wuss out of university because someone said 'Wingardium leviosa' to me in a corridor, or 'Ten points for Gryffindor.' I've been dealing with the media since I was nine. If I can't stand up to a few people giving me a hard time, it's a bit pathetic, really. I've had so much worse."

She's gearing up for her opening slot on the Britney Spears Femme Fatale tour, and Nicki Minaj can't wait to hit the road.

The "Super Bass" rapper begins her gig with the "Toxic" mommy on June 16th in Sacramento, California, and it's gonna be hot.

Nicki explained, "We probably won't start talking about what we're planning for another couple days. I've been just rehearsing, and she's been rehearsing, and we'll be getting together in a couple days."

"I'm just trying to put more theater on that stage. So much to me is music, but it's also about putting on a show, so that's my goal: to truly put on a show and incorporate theater and dance. I think it's pretty easy to take it to the next level ... I think I'm nowhere close to where I could be as far as my shows have been. So I think it's going to be pretty easy, actually."

However, Kellen isn't just easy on the eyes - he's also proved to have a heart of gold, revealing his love of the "St. Bernard Project" to Give Back Hollywood while at the MTV Movie Awards over the weekend (June 5).

Lutz explained, "I had the chance to work down there and really just meet the people down there in New Orleans. They have all these volunteers that come out and they build these houses for the community and they get the families back in their home."

Coming to the defense of the controversial video, Gabrielle Union says she can understand why Rihanna portrayed the killing of a rapist in "Man Down."

The "Bad Boys 2" actress has opened up about her own painful experience with sexual abuse and why she finds it easy to relate with the heated clip.

After watching the visual component of the powerful song, Gabrielle tweeted, "Saw 'Man Down' by @rihanna. Every victim/survivor of rape is unique, including how they THINK they'd like justice 2 be handed out," adding "During my rape I tried 2 shoot my rapist, bt I missed. Over the yrs I realized tht killin my rapist would've added insult 2 injury."

Katy Perry Teases “Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F)” Video

The "Teenage Dream" babe shared a 35-second preview of the video, in which she stars as Kathy Beth Terry.

Additionally, the band Hanson will be included in the 1990s-inspired fun, as well as plenty of surprises.

The full-length "Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.) music video will debut on June 14th, and there's even a Kathy Beth Terry Facebook page!
