Kim Kardashian Covers Cosmopolitan August 2011

Adding another magazine cover to her credit, Kim Kardashian is on the front of Cosmopolitan's August issue.

The "Disaster Movie" hottie looks fabulous in a pink sweatshirt dress that shows just enough skin to get pulses racing.

In the accompanying interview, Kim confesses, "Sometimes I feel like a zoo animal. I'll be at a restaurant, and someone will put their phone in front of my face and take a picture without saying hi."

Over the holiday weekend, Kim joined her fiancé Kris Humphries on a trip to his native Minnesota. She tweeted, "Kind of obsessed with Lake Minnetonka! Boats & O's! It's like Vegas on the lake over here!"

Selena Gomez Sparkles at All Saints

Stepping out to do some post-promotions shopping, style-savvy Selena Gomez took to All Saints in Oxford, England earlier today (July 6).

The 18-year-old songstress, who later went for dinner at a nearby spaghetti house, looked stunning in a shiny silver top, blue jeans, and gray suede heels.

Gomez's shopping/dinner excursion followed a morning in which she helped launch the new channel Disney HD in the UK.

Meanwhile, while things continue to heat up between Selena and beau Justin Bieber (who both born to teenage parents), their families have spoke out to warn the duo of the importance of safe sex.

According to one Gomez-Bieber insider, it's important that the teens understand how their current decisions could impact them forever, telling press, "Everyone knows their intentions are good, but they also know how easy it is to get worked up when you're young and in love...It would only take a few moments of weakness to cause what could be a lifetime of regret."

Elizabeth Hurley Lands Gig on "Gossip Girl"

Ready to take the Upper East Side by storm, Elizabeth Hurley is taking her talents to "Gossip Girl" - as she has just officially joined the uber-popular teen soap.

According to TV Line, the 46-year-old is set for an extended drama-filled stay on the CW network, where she'll act alongside co-stars Blake Lively and Leighton Meester.

Elizabeth will make her debut on the show's fifth season as Diana Payne, who producers Stephanie Savage and Joshua Safran call "a sexy, smart, self-made media mogul and all-around force to be reckoned with," adding, "Diana's entrance on the Upper East Side will change the lives of all our characters -- including, and especially, Gossip Girl herself."

"Elizabeth's sense of humor, intelligence and beauty fit the GG world perfectly. "We feel very fortunate to have her," the producers continued.

James Spader Joins “The Office”

With things around "The Office" still settling down after Steve Carell's departure last season, it has been confirmed that James Spader will join the cast.

The "Boston Legal" actor made an appearance on the hit NBC program this past Spring and will return as CEO Robert California of Dunder Mifflin's parent company Sabre.

Paul Lieberstein, who plays Toby Flenderson and also serves as an executive producer, expressed his excitement over the news.

"James will reprise his role as Robert California, this uber-salesman that has a power to convince and manipulate, like a high-class weirdo Jedi warrior. He'll have been hired over the summer as the new manager, but within hours, got himself promoted. Within days, he took over the company. James has an energy that is completely his own, and 'The Office' has no tools for dealing with this guy. We're thrilled he's joining our cast."

Kelly Clarkson: "Let Me Down" First Listen!

Offering up a sneak peek into her forthcoming album, Kelly Clarkson's "Let Me Down" has made its way to the Internet.

Back in May, a small snippet of the rumored to be new single leaked, and now the track's full-version has hit the Web

The song, possibly a part of Kelly's not-yet-titled forthcoming record (out in October), is a mash-up between her angst-worthy pop/rock tunes and her belted-out anthems.

When asked about her inspiration for her newest musical contemplation, Clarkson told fans, "This album was influenced by Prince, Tina Turner, Sheryl Crow, Radiohead and there's a little bit of a country vibe/influence on a couple of songs."

The former "Hellcats" star looked cute in black leggings and a white pocketed tank as she made her way to her car while the on-hand paparazzi snapped away.

Meanwhile, viscous rumors have surfaced ever since Tisdale's birthday/Fourth of July fun-filled weekend with "High School Musical" co-star Zac Efron.

Clearing the air and setting the rumor spreaders straight, Ash tweeted yesterday, "Family, and BOYFRIEND Scott. I will not let stupid rumors ruin all the fun we had! Xoxo."

Casey Anthony Trial: Lack of Evidence Led to Acquittal

In the aftermath of the Casey Anthony murder trial, everyone is trying to figure out why things played out as they did.

And according to Florida State Attorney Jeff Ashton, Anthony's "not guilty" status was the result of a lack of reliable evidence.

Ashton explained, "It all came down to the evidence. I think ultimately it all came down to- at least from what the one alternate said- it came down to the cause of death."

Alternate juror Russell Huekler shared, "The prosecution failed to prove their case and there was reasonable doubt. Again, they didn't show us how Caylee died. They didn't show us a motive. I'm sorry people feel that way. ... These were 17 total jurors. They really listened to this case and kept an open mind."

Prince William & Kate Middleton: Calgary Bound!

Bringing an end to their time in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories, Prince William and Kate Middleton were spotted boarding a plane today (July 6).

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge looked to be in good spirits as they waved goodbye and hopped on their private jet en route to Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

Will and Kate will spend two days in Calgary as part of their North American Tour, marking the first time any member of the British Royal Family has been to the city.

The Royal newlyweds will help commence the 2011 Calgary Stampede, the world's largest rodeo celebration attracting 1.3 million visitors, as well as enjoy the local sights, sounds, and flavors.

Nicolas Cage’s Son Weston: Divorcing Pregnant Wife

Things in the Cage family keep getting weirder - Nicolas Cage's son Weston just announced he's filing for divorce from his pregnant wife.

According to a report from TMZ, Weston took to his Facebook page to announce he was leaving his wife Nikki Williams after only 3 months of marriage.

Cage wrote, "Made my choice. Getting divorced." What makes this even stranger is that he also used Facebook to announce her pregnancy earlier this week- "Never hit my wife. Why would I start abusing after she was positive after taking a pregnant-c test."

The abuse rumor stemmed from Weston's July 4th arrest for felony domestic violence in which Cage and Williams got pretty heated during an argument.

Emma Watson’s “Harry Potter” Promotions in London

Taking care of some publicity duties, Emma Watson was spotted at a photo call for "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part II" in London, England today (July 6).

The short-haired hottie was joined by costars Rupert Grint and Tom Felton as she posed for the press outside the Renaissance St. Pancras Hotel ahead of tomorrow's UK premiere.

Emma is featured in a new pictorial in UK's Harper's Bazaar, and she told press that doing the photo shoot was a bit of a departure for her.

"[To] let myself be powerful, sexy, all those things, it's scary for me. I felt a bit uncomfortable and awkward, it didn't come naturally at all."
