Taylor Armstrong "Devastated" By Russell’s Death

Grieving the loss of her estranged husband, Taylor Armstrong is said to be "devastated" over Russell's suicide.

Commenting on the death of her 47-year-old former spouse, a rep of Miss Armstrong told press, "Taylor Armstrong is devastated by the tragic events that have unfolded. She requests privacy at this time so that she may comfort her young daughter."

Meanwhile, Russell 's lawyer, Ronald Richards, says that he was completely caught off guard by the occurrence, telling that he had no idea that his client was depressed.

After learning of Russell's apparent suicide on Monday night, Richards told People, "I'm very shocked by this. Besides being upset about his divorce and its effect on his kids, he didn't show any outward signs of depression."

However, despite Mr. Armstrong's seemingly calm disposition, the "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" husband was in the midst of divorce proceedings with estranged with Taylor, as well as dealing with a $1.5 million lawsuit for misuse of funds and breach of contract by MyMedicalRecords.com.

"Russell was a guy who always had multiple business deals going at all times. He was a good networker. But as a couple, they lived way beyond their means," adding that, "Each month was a challenge for him to cover their lifestyle. Russell was in a lot of debt and he had legal problems. His credit cards were used up. He had serious financial problems. And that no doubt caused him a lot of stress," Richards explained.

A source close to the troubled couple says Armstrong's legal issues were getting to him, telling People, "He was depressed. He had a lot going on these past few months. The split from Taylor was a long time coming but it still took a big toll on him. He had no money; he was failing in business. It all added up."

As for his legal counsel, Richards faults the pair's stint on the popular Bravo reality TV show for intensifying the burden he felt, explaining, "When his wife and him first started the show, I warned them that it would cause undue stress on their marriage. Being thrust in the spotlight didn't do any favors for Russell and Taylor."

Looking as fit as ever, Ashley Tisdale was spotted heading into the gym for a workout in Los Angeles, CA on Tuesday (August 16).

The "Aliens in the Attic" star looked super cute in her fitness gear that consisted of a bright yellow sports bra, purple tank and black leggings.

As for her incredible physique, Ashley told Life & Style, "I work out a lot and eat healthy. If I'm getting ready for something, I cut out bread and wheat products, and eat protein — chicken, salmon and other fish and veggies. Of course, if I'm going on vacation, I let myself have a vacation."
And as for her biggest fashion splurge?? Tisdale said she's most proud of her Rolex watch.

Pippa Middleton: Lovely in London

Enjoying a sunny summertime day, Pippa Middleton was spotted out and about in London, England earlier this afternoon (August 16).

The style-savvy younger sis of Kate Middleton sported a black leather jacket, printed black frock and nude-colored wedges as she tended to the day's errands.

Meanwhile, Pippa continues to be pummeled with rumors that she padded her rump during the Royal Wedding, hoping to create a curvier look while donning her now-famous bridesmaid gown.

"If you look at other photos of her and you see her in jeans, she's got quite a flat bottom," London Spa owner Lesley Reynolds told press.

He added, "I think possibly for the day, for that gorgeous dress, she may have had some sort of pants that gave her a little bit of a lift, or even a little bit of padding."

Stocking up on some healthy eats, Ellen Pompeo made a stop at Nature Mart in Los Feliz, California on Monday (August 15).

The 41-year-old actress kept it casual for her domestic duties, wearing a purple top, blue jeans and a brown leather handbag as she ventured through the store.

Meanwhile, mommy of one Ellen has lent some of her pregnancy knowledge to her "Grey's Anatomy" co-star Sarah Drew, as Sarah explained, "Ellen is so great. She is a wealth of information. She loves to take care of people on set. As soon as I got pregnant, she sat me down and said, 'Okay, let's talk. How's the nausea? Are you thinking of nannies?'"

Drew, who's expecting her first child in early 2012, added, "[She was] so incredibly helpful and engaged right off the bat. She gave me great advice for helping with the nausea! Boil fresh ginger to make a tea, and bring it to work to sip on when the nausea arises. This was really helpful … it definitely worked!"

Lady Gaga’s "You and I" Music Video: Watch Now!

Coming a bit earlier than expected, Lady Gaga's latest music video has hit the web.

The 25-year-old shot the "You and I" visual offering in Nebraska, with the artistic piece being put together by Mutt Lange.

Talking about the effort, Born This Way musical director Fernando Garibay told MTV News, "She recorded a vocal backstage [on tour], because there was no time to fly anybody out anymore. It was the last round. She recorded it backstage, the vocal and the piano, and gave it to Mutt Lange. Her and Mutt Lange traded notes, and I just made sure that everything stayed intact."

Of the "You and I" video, Gaga tweeted, "You will never find what you are looking for in love, if you don't love yourself."

Also sticking her nose up at the scheduled video debut - which was supposed to happen on Thursday (August 18), Gaga wrote, "F*** THURSDAY"

It's a film industry highlight each year, and the 2011 Toronto International Film Festival just got some extra star power.

Big names like Nicole Kidman and Robert De Niro have been added to the already stellar lineup for the festival, joining folks like Jason Statham, Clive Owen, Nicolas cage, and Clive Owen.

DeNiro's "Killer Elite" is already getting lots of buzz, as is Kidman's "Trespass," both of which will be featured during the 11-day event.

Dianna Agron Rocks Out at Adele Concert

Enjoying an evening of live music, Dianna Agron was spotted at the Adele concert in Los Angeles last night (August 15).

The "Glee"girl brought her mother along to the Greek Theater and seemed to get a kick out of watching her mom deal with the paparazzi.

During a recent interview, Dianna shared that her co-star Lea Michele saved her from toppling off of a stage during a live performance.

Miss Agron explained, "Lea saved me. There was a slightly smaller stage (than usual) and fireworks which came down a little closer, almost on top of us and I couldn't see. Lea's like, 'Get over here, you're about to die!' It was kind of serious. Now I always remember to look down once in a while."

Joe Jonas: Teaming Up for Fall Tour with Jay Sean

He's set to hit the "Femme Fatale" tour scene, and now Joe Jonas is ready for a little guys' time, as he's set to co-headline a tour with R&B crooner Jay Sean.

According to Entertainment Weekly, the two young musicians will team up for a joint 19-city tour this fall.

The pair are lined up to kick off their concert series on September 6 at the House of Blues in Boston before making stops in various major cities, including Los Angeles and Chicago.

Both Jonas and Sean have albums in the works. For Joe, it's "Fast Life" out on October 11 while Jay is expected to release "Freeze Time" sometime in the near future.

Landing the cover thanks to her charitable efforts in Kenya, Drew Barrymore is the focus of Condé Nast Traveler's first ever Visionaries issue.

Set to hit newsstands nationwide on August 23rd, the publication delves into the 36-year-old Hollywood star's efforts through the World Food Programme - which include building a brand-new primary school, providing food for children, and digging wells that are life altering for the villagers.

On feelings after reading an article about impoverished Kenyan children:
"I was really moved. I never went to school myself. I was doing a job and didn't have a kids life. I wanted to learn more about why these kids were so passionate, walking so far and overfilling their classrooms."

"I didn't want to be on a soapbox, this Westerner living in a bubble, so on the first trip I was a little nervous. I asked questions and listened a lot..."

On visiting these kids in Kenya and learning about what they want to be when they grow up:
"It's amazing to me that the kids mention professions which involve helping others, that they are naturally philanthropic. People can feel unconfident about sending money into the void of a charity. But when you find something like this that speaks to your heart, it gives you the courage to look beyond your own problems and take the first small steps to try as an individual to make an impact."

Pia Toscano Rocks “Live! With Regis & Kelly”

She's a favorite from this past season's "American Idol" and Pia Toscano was in the house at "Live with Regis and Kelly" today (August 16).

The dark-haired hottie looked cool and confident as she greeted fans and signed autographs outside the New York City studios.

Pia donned a sparkly grey top and dark wash jeans while singing her brand new single "This Time."

Miss Toscano and the rest of the "American Idol" gang are currently on tour, after which Pia will return to the studio to finish her album.
