Coldplay’s Thrilling Lollapalooza 2011 Performance

Delivering a high-energy 90-minute set to help kick off the 2011 Lollapalooza Music Festival, Coldplay took center stage at the annual concert extravaganza on Friday night (August 5).

Held at Grant Park in Chicago, Illinois, Chris Martin joined bandmates Guy Berryman, Jonny Buckland and Will Champion to churn out a performance that attendees will surely remember forever.

After getting the crown hyped up with Jay-Z's "99 Problems" playing over the loud speakers, the English rockers delved into "MX" before transitioning into "Hurts Like Heaven" and "Yellow".

Among the other songs on setlist were new tunes "Us Against The World" and "Charlie Brown" along with fan favorites such as "Clocks" and "In My Place".

The quartet also delivered another tribute to late singer Amy Winehouse with a rendition of "Rehab" paired with "Fix You".

With the nighttime concert competing with Matthew Bellamy's band Muse - who performed on another stage - Martin told the frenzied audience during the course of the evening, "We know you had options [tonight] ... and you picked the right one."

Offering up a super-sexy glimpse of all treats to come, Candice Swanepoel has debuted Victoria's Secret's new Halloween fantasy line.

While the holiday may still be months away, the 22-year-old supermodel showed off a bevy of the super-sultry outfits, ranging from a see-through Santa suit to a lacy law enforcement officer in a slew of scantily-clad, just-released photos.

Candice, who looks like the picture of perfection in her latest snapshots, has revealed that she's now "healthy and happy" following recent speculation that she is suffering from an eating disorder.

While defending her then-frail frame, Swanepoel blamed her hectic schedule - explaining that if her weight was ever at an unhealthy mark, it was due solely to the demands of her job.

She told ABC News, "This year my problem has been more putting the weight on and getting muscle on because it's been really busy. I've been traveling around like crazy. I get skinnier if I'm very busy."

Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie’s "Wicked" Weekend with the Brood!

Making for quite the fabulous family adventure, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt stepped out with the brood in London, England on Saturday (August 6).

The "Mr and Mrs Smith" co-star couple escorted Maddox, Pax, Zahara and Shiloh to the Victoria Theatre to check out a stage production of "Wicked" - with the outing coming a day after Maddox's 10th birthday.

As previously reported by GossipCenter, Brad and Angelina are in London as Pitt continues to film his labor-intensive new film "World War Z".

The stay in the UK comes after the Hollywood power couple took to the 17th Sarajevo Film Festival the previous weekend so that Angelina could collect the Honorary Heart of Sarajevo award.

Nicole Scherzinger: FOX TCA Fabulous

Tending to her continuous promotional duties, Nicole Scherzinger hit up the Fox TCA All-Star Party held at Gladstones in Pacific Palisades, California on Friday night (August 5).

Always on top of the hottest fashion trends, the 33-year-old singer sported a super-hot black bustier, high-slit white skirt and black leather heels.

While on an earlier press stop, Nicole joked about her job security on "The X-Factor" and why she doesn't fear getting the axe like former judge Cheryl Cole, as she explained, "Simon can't get rid of me. I love our big dysfunctional family."

Scherzinger also dished about the antics of the forthcoming show and how the Cowell/Paula Abdul dynamic has the set's constant attention, as she dished, "It's like I always say, LA [Reid] and I get the front row tickets to the Sony and Cher Show," adding, "Simon knows how to get under her skin like nobody else. It's crazy. She starts throwing stuff at him and everything."

"Rise of the Planet of the Apes" Dominates the Box Office

Swinging into theaters nationwide, "Rise of the Planet of the Apes" took over the box office by shooting to the top spot over the weekend of August 5-7, 2011.

The James Franco/Freida Pinto starring origins-based picture pulled in an estimated $19 million on opening day while trending towards a solid $50 million weekend take.

Falling to second place was last weekend's co-winner "The Smurfs 3D," as the Sony Pictures family film saw $5.7 million in ticket sales on Friday with a projected second weekend total of $18 million.

Rounding out the top five at the box office this weekend are the Daniel Craig/Olivia Wilde driven action flick "Cowboys & Aliens" ($15 million), followed by the disappointing Ryan Reynolds spearheaded comedy "The Change-Up" ($13 million) and "Captain America: The First Avenger" ($13 million).

Kicking off his highly-anticipated run on the hit musical, Nick Jonas hit the stage at the Hollywood Bowl in Hollywood, California for a special performance of "Hairspray" yesterday (August 5).

The 18-year-old singer, who fronts Link Larkin in the highly-acclaimed show, created quite a frenzy when he locked lips with his 38-year-old co-star Marissa Jaret Winokur.

Throwing her support behind her talented man, Nick's beau, 26-year-old Delta Goodrem, was spotted sitting in the audience as she sparkled in an off-the-shoulder top and black pants.

Looking to be quite happy with the way the night unfolded, Jonas took to his Twitter page to offer up his thoughts, writing, "What an amazing opening night of Hairspray! Thanks to everyone who came out. And to all my amazing cast mates and crew! See you tomorrow!"

The "Skyscraper" songstress looked trendy as she hit the highly acclaimed show, wearing silver fave glitter, gold feather necklace and cut-off jeans.

Meanwhile, Demi has opened up about her past struggles in the latest issue of Elle magazine, addressing rumors that ex beau Joe Jonas had something to do with the issues that sent her to rehab, telling the publication, "I wouldn't credit my meltdown to a guy. There was so much other stuff in my life."

Miss Lovato also touched on the much-talked about photos of her at pal Miley Cyrus' 16th birthday, pictures that appeared to show red marks around her wrists.

While she didn't approve of her then-PR person telling press that her injuries were not self-inflicted but rather from candy jewelry, she says she really wasn't ready to deal with the things going on in her life just yet, "I don't think I would have been ready to talk about [my problems] then, but I could've come up with something better than gummy bracelets."

Ethan Hawke: Proud Papa to Baby India!

Welcoming another bundle of joy to his life, Ethan Hawke has become a father for the fourth time after his wife gave birth to a baby girl!

According to a report from Page Six, the "Gattaca" actor's wife, Ryan Shawhughes, gave birth to a baby girl named India late last month (July 2011).

The revelation of the baby's arrival comes after the couple were spotted out at a NYC restaurant with their precious little girl on Friday (August 5), with a source telling, "He was introducing the kid to the other people at his table and staff and other people in the restaurant."

India is Ethan and Ryan's second child together, with the actor also having two kids with ex-wife Uma Thurman - who he divorced back in 2004.
