Brad Pitt: Rides Back into Richmond

He's no stranger to traveling in style, and Brad Pitt was spotted arriving at his temporary UK home via helicopter on Friday (August 12).

The "Curious Case of Benjamin Button" stud looked to be in good spirits as he hopped out of the chopper on the Polo field in Richmond which is just around the corner from his digs.

Hopefully, Pitt has a few days off to enjoy the weekend as he has been super busy working on his upcoming film "World War Z."

The official synopsis for the flick hit the web this week and says that the film will revolve around United Nations employee Gerry Lane (Pitt), who traverses the world in a race against time to stop the Zombie pandemic that is toppling armies and governments and threatening to decimate humanity itself."

LeAnn Rimes: Back to LA

Making her West Coast return, LeAnn Rimes was spotted at LAX International Airport this morning (August 12).

The "How Do I Live" songstress looked to be in good spirits as she sported a smile while strolling through the terminal.

LeAnn has been getting plenty of attention as of late thanks to her sexy new photo spread for Mikoh Swimwear.

Rimes also talked about her career success and family life in a recent post on the Mikoh website. "I have been blessed to have experienced so much in my short lifetime. I've loved another with all my heart, and to me, this has always been enough. What's life without love? You can accomplish everything you want in life, but without anyone to share it with, what's it really worth?"

Showing off her fabulous form, Candice Swanepoel was spotted prancing around on the beach in St. Barts earlier today (August 12).

The Victoria's Secret hottie posed in a plethora of perky bikinis as part of a new photo shoot for the lingerie/apparel company.

And it sounds like Candice has been thoroughly enjoying her time on the tropical island according to her Twitter page.

Ms. Swanepoel tweeted, "Beautiful st Barts!!! I love this place! An extremely early morning but worth it when you land in paradise."

Rihanna Talks “Battleship” Gig

She's mostly known for her fabulous portfolio of hit songs, but Rihanna is also making a name for herself as an actress.

And her latest project "Battleship" was nothing short of a challenge, though she's glad she took on the role.

Ri-Ri told press she loved her character Raikes' uniform. "It's really cool, it's easy. You don't have to think about what you want to put on, or how cute you look. She doesn't like boys. She doesn't like girls either. She's just about her weapons and her work."

As for her preparation, the "Take A Bow" songstress shared, "We worked with real military people, you know, people in the Navy, people who have fought in Iraq before. They pretty much came and drilled me. This one man, Donald, he pretty much drilled me, yelled at me, cursed me, 'Ow!' Made me do pushups. Everything. Like, my best friend was there the second time we worked together, and I said to her, 'OK, I'm about to do acting class, but you're going to want to kill this man, so just stay in the bedroom. Don't listen to anything he's saying to me right now, just don't kill him, Melissa, just stay in the bedroom.'"

Samantha Ronson: Viper Room Vixen

Stepping out for some clubbing action, Samantha Ronson was spotted at The Viper Room in West Hollywood last night (August 11).

The celebrity deejay looked a bit annoyed with the swarming shutterbugs as she strolled inside, sporting a red scarf, grey vest, and grey trousers.

And it's been a rough month for SamRo, who was busted on August 1st for driving under the influence of alcohol.

If convicted of the charge, Ronson could face a maximum of six months in the slammer and a $1000 fine. An officer on the scene told press, "She was friendly and talkative. She was cooperative throughout the whole ordeal."

Joe Jonas’ Hollywood Mystery Date

Enjoying a fun-filled evening, Joe Jonas was spotted at Susan Feniger's Street restaurant last night (August 11).

The "See No More" singer was joined by a mystery girl as he quickly exited the eatery and made his way back to his car.

In a recent interview, Joe told press he's excited about his new solo album, even though his band the Jonas Brothers is on break for awhile.

"Right now, we're just focused on the side projects and the individual stuff we're doing. In the next few years or a year or so, we're gonna make more music together. I think it's nice for all of us to be able to do this and for me to take this time and really go for it."

Casey Anthony: Headed Back to Orlando

The rollercoaster ride continues, as Casey Anthony has been once again ordered to return to Orlando by Judge Belvin Perry.

It seems the 25-year-old must serve probation for a check fraud case unrelated to her murder acquittal last month. She has to be back in Florida by August 26th for one year, though her address may be kept confidential.

Of course, Anthony's lawyer Cheney Mason is doing all he can to prevent Casey from having to head south, claiming it will be unsafe for her there.

Mason declared, "Any requirement that she return to Orange County [would] put her in great peril, as well as impose a significant cost to taxpayers in securing her safety."

Alexander Skarsgard: Hard at Work

Kicking off another day on the job, Alexander Skarsgard was spotted on the set of "What Maisie Knew" in New York City this morning (August 12).

The "True Blood" stud looked cool and casual in a black t-shirt and jeans as he ran lines and filmed scenes with his costars.

During a recent interview on "Live with Regis and Kelly," Alex confessed that he didn't always love being an actor, especially at a young age.

"I did something and when I was 13, it got some attention and I didn't like being famous. I didn't want to be recognized, I was insecure, I didn't like the attention, I didn't want people knowing who I was; so to hear people on TV, radio talking about who I was and what I like was kind of confusing."

But he eventually came back to the industry. "I don't know, I just missed it. I was 20 years old, I'd lived in Leeds and I didn't know what I wanted to do with my life, and thinking about reasons for quitting, it was nothing to do with being onstage or in front of the camera."

American Idol Top 11 Rock “Good Morning America”

They're the cream of the crop from this past season, and this morning (August 12) the "American Idol" top 11 contestants dropped by "Good Morning America."

Scotty McCreery and Lauren Alaina led the way, while Pia Toscano, Haley Reinhart, Thia Megia, Jacob Lusk, Casey Abrams, Stefano Langone, and Naima Adedapo all took the stage at Rumsey Playfield in Central Park, New York City.

As for his post Idol plans, Scotty told press he's looking forward to continuing his schooling once his album comes out.
"After the album I'm going back to school. It's my senior year and I'm not going to miss out on those memories... I'll still be working."

Pink’s South of the Border Family Getaway

Enjoying a lavish getaway with the family, Pink, along with hubby Carey Hart and baby girl Willow Sage, soaked up the sun of their Mexican locale on Thursday (August 11).

The proud mom and pop were less than happy when greeted by nearby photogs - trying to shield little Willow from the shutterbugs as Carey offered up an unfriendly hand gesture to the lurking shutterbugs.

While heading off to their south of the border vacation, the "So what" singer was welcomed by a fan's message written across her not-so-sparkling SUV.

Poking fun at the dirty ride, the joke read, "Pink, wash your car," before adding "Ja ja," which translates to "ha ha" in Spanish.
