"Desperate Housewives" Ending After Season 8

Surely coming as unwelcome news to the program's longtime viewers, it has been announced that "Desperate Housewives" will be drawing to an end after Season 8.

The primetime drama - which stars Teri Hatcher, Eva Longoria, Marcia Cross and Felicity Huffman - kicks off the series-ending season on Sunday, September 25th with 22 episodes slated to run through Spring 2012.

The ABC press release breaking the news of the show's end tells: "Season Eight...will roll out in a way that is accessible even to viewers who may have lapsed in their viewing, and be all the richer and more rewarding for the series' loyal fans."

Continuing on, ABC Entertainment President Paul Lee said, "It is an iconic show. We are so proud of it. You're gonna see this really cool take that moved me every time I saw it."

Lee added, "I just wanted to make sure that this show that sort of put this network on the map -- certainly the new brand of this network for the last six or seven years -- had its victory lap. Had a chance to really set out every episode and build an arc for those 22 episodes so that we could say goodbye to this iconic show."

Ethan Hawke Debuts Baby India!

Offering a very first look at his baby girl, Ethan Hawke and wife Ryan Shawhughes showed off their newborn daughter Indiana while out and about in New York City on Sunday (August 7).

The "Training Day" actor and his lovely wife ventured out to a restaurant in the West Village before leisurely walking home with their family.

As previously reported by GossipCenter, Indiana is Ethan's fourth child and his second with wife Ryan - as he has two children with ex-wife Uma Thurman.

The revelation of India's birth came to light on Friday when the actor and his family had lunch at La Bottega in Manhattan, with a source telling People magazine, "He was very happy. Seemed like a proud daddy."

Demi Lovato: Backstage Creations Cutie

Fully immersing herself in the weekend Teen Choice 2011 festivities, Demi Lovato was spotted at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, California on Saturday night (August 6).

The "Skyscraper" singer joined alongside actress Madison De la Garza while grabbing up some free gear at the Backstage Creations Celebrity Retreat.

The outing comes as Miss Lovato is readying for quite the momentous night during tonight's Teen Choice Awards ceremony - during which Demi is one of the scheduled musical performers.

The soon-to-be 19-year-old also is among the nominees at the annual event, as she's up for Choice TV Actress: Comedy for "Sonny with a Chance" and Choice Twit honors.

Lauren Conrad’s Solo Katy Perry Concert Night

She's rarely been spotted out since parting ways with boyfriend of three years Kyle Howard, but Lauren Conrad treated herself to a fun-filled night on the town on Saturday (August 6).

The former "Hills" star was looking fabulous in some skintight PVC pants as she headed inside Nokia Theater to watch Katy Perry perform her "California Dreams" concert.

Meanwhile, another former beau of Miss Conrad's is in the midst of cleaning up his life after numerous run-ins with the law - as Jason Wahler is doing his best to make amends with LC.

Of his desire to mend past wrongs, Wahler recently told press, "I wanted to make amends with Lauren [Conrad]. She was a big part of my life and there's stuff that happened in the past with my drunken ways that I needed to address."

The 24-year-old went on to explain how he contacted Lauren upon finishing treatment, as he added, "She's an incredible person and so supportive of anything I do to stay clean. But the timing had to be right before I reached back out."

David Beckham’s Tender Moment with Baby Harper

The former Spice Girls singer delivered the too-cute moment via Twitter, as she wrote, "I took this beautiful picture and wanted to share it with you, baby Harper cuddling Daddy! x VB"

Meanwhile, David has already paid tribute to his nearly one-month old daughter in the form of a tattoo - which he displayed during an LA Galaxy match against FC Dallas last night (August 6).

The ink job is of his little angel's name "Harper" written on his left collarbone.

Ashley Tisdale Celebrates "Phineas & Ferb" Success

Clad in a hippie-style ensemble while toting a furry bag with an Eagle design, the Disney darling and her purchasing partner took to the Malibu Country Mart to grab a few items from the Planet Blue store.

The outing comes as Miss Tisdale is celebrating quite the impressive performance by her TV effort "Phineas and Ferb: Across the 2nd Dimension"

The show was cable's top movie of the year - averaging 7.6 million viewers during its premiere telecast with plans for two more airings on the Disney Channel network.

Drawing one of the largest crowds in recent memory, the stars of "Glee" gathered together for the "Glee: The 3D Concert Movie" premiere in Los Angeles on Saturday evening (August 6).

Held at the Regency's Village Theatre, Lea Michele, Dianna Agron, Cory Montieth and Darren Criss were among the big names taking to the red carpet for the west coast event.

Also joining in on the fun were fellow castmates including Mark Salling, Chris Colfer, Heather Morris, Chord Overstreet, Naya Rivera, Harry Shum Jr., Amber Riley and Kevin McHale, as well as celebs such as Sarah Hyland and Kathy Griffin.

Directed by Kevin Tancharoen, the TV show based movie is "a concert documentary shot during the Glee Live! In Concert! summer 2011 tour."

Bringing her gorgeousness to the forefront, Dianna Agron was in attendance for the "Glee: The 3D Concert Movie" premiere in Los Angeles, CA on Saturday evening (August 6).

With the event being held at Regency's Village Theatre, the Quinn Fabray cutie looked stunning as she joined her FOX co-stars in boosting interest in the TV-based feature film.

As for "Glee: The 3D Concert Movie," the project was directed by Kevin Tancharoen while being "a concert documentary shot during the Glee Live! In Concert! summer 2011 tour."

Bringing her beauty to the red carpet, Lea Michele was on-hand for the "Glee: The 3D Concert Movie" premiere in Los Angeles on Saturday evening (August 6).

The Rachel Berry actress took to the Regency's Village Theatre venue while joining alongside her many co-stars for the much-awaited film's debut.

And while she's certainly excited about the big screen effort, Miss Michele did voice a bit of concern, as she told press, "My nose is gonna be insane. People are gonna put on those glasses, and I feel bad for them!"

Rihanna’s Barbadian Boating Adventure!

Still living it up in her native land, Rihanna joined her family and friends for a day on the Caribbean off the shore of Barbados on Saturday (August 6).

Wearing a colorful one-piece swimsuit, the "What's My Name" singer cruised the crystal clear waters before setting anchor and hopping off ship to do a little wave running in the island locale.

The leisurely afternoon comes after RiRi treated her hometown supporters to an energetic performance the previous night - with video footage of the 23-year-old rockin' out with her song "So Hard" available above.

On a side note, it was recently announced that Rihanna has collaborated with coconut water giant Vita Coco to launch a new flavor called Vita Coco Tropical Fruit - which is described as an "all-natural, luscious blend of coconut water, pink guava, orange, red dragon fruit and pineapple."

Talking about the thirst-quenching offering in a statement, the superstar singer said, "I grew up in Barbados – so when Vita Coco approached me to help develop a new flavor, I thought we should combine the natural coconut water with fresh tropical fruits – two of my favorite things. It tastes so delicious and reminds me of home!"
